Disability Care Services in Sydney
Uprety Home Care has a unique approach to disability care services for participate who has NDIS funding. Disability care services includes personal care, companionship, domestic assistance, respite care, 24- hour care, overnight active/ inactive sleepover shifts.
We specialize in providing private, in-home care for individuals with disabilities, both adults and children, with the aim of enabling them to continue living in the comfort of their own homes while fostering independence.
Our founder, Manisha Uprety, the Registered Nurses and support workers in the team have numerous years of experience in delivering in-home care nursing supports for older Australians and people living with disabilities. Our dedicated team at Uprety Home Care, we are committed to providing the highest quality of personalized, in-home care, tailored to the unique needs of everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
Limited abilities often mean, needing supports. Our staffs are experienced in basic care and supports to complex cares. Complex supports may include:
- Bed bath/wash
- Transfers only by full sling lifters 2:1
- Regularly pressure area care due to pressure injury management
- Daily catheter care which may include attaching night bags, emptying catheter bags during the daytime, weekly leg bag changes
- Complex bowel care- administration of enema
- Peg feed, daily stoma care
- Management of daily skin integrity
- Dementia Care
- Palliative care/ Pain management
Basic supports may include minimal supports:
- Bathing, getting in and out of bed, maintaining hygiene, cooking, organising rooms, domestic assistance, respite care, travelling to places, participating in community programs, etc.
